FAITH & THEOLOGY
Faith should be understood, lived, and shared.
This is where my theological formation, preaching, Christian education, apologetics, evangelism, and ongoing study come together.
I believe the life of faith should engage both the heart and the mind. Good theology should deepen worship, shape character, strengthen the church, and prepare believers to speak about Christ with clarity, humility, and courage.
CURRENT TEACHING · ONE CHURCH AT HARVEST POINT
EVG 101 & APO 101
Two practical church-based courses designed to help believers understand their faith more deeply and communicate it more faithfully.

APO 101
Apologetics 101
An accessible introduction to understanding why Christians believe what they believe and communicating that faith with conviction and grace.
- Build a biblical foundation for Christian apologetics.
- Think carefully about evidence, worldview, and truth.
- Engage common questions about God and Scripture.
- Discuss morality, suffering, and difficult cultural questions.
- Recognize competing worldview assumptions.
- Respond thoughtfully without treating people like arguments to win.
Designed for: Christians who want a stronger foundation for answering questions about the faith and engaging others thoughtfully.
More than information.
Neither course is designed merely to give people more material to remember. The goal is formation: believers who are more grounded in what they believe, more thoughtful in how they communicate it, and more prepared to serve the people God has placed around them.
Know what you believe. Understand why you believe it. Learn how to communicate it with clarity, humility, and courage.
FOUNDATIONS
Overview of Christian Thought
Earlier teaching on this site grew out of a simple conviction: a structurally sound life of faith requires a strong foundation. That curriculum explored core areas of Christian doctrine and continues to reflect the theological framework behind much of my teaching.
- The development and canonicity of the Bible
- The creation and nature of humanity
- The nature of sin
- Angels and demons
- The biblical covenants
- The meaning of Christ’s death
- Adoption and union with Christ
- The nature and mission of the church
The old registration link has been retired, but the themes remain part of the larger teaching ministry represented here.
